aboutI am an Associate Research Scientist, licensed Connecticut psychologist (CT State License #3890), and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) at the Yale OCD Research Clinic directed by Christopher Pittenger. I currently serve the clinic as its Associate Director for Clinical Psychology.
I completed my Ph.D. in School Psychology at an APA accredited program at the University of Florida in 2018, where I gained clinical experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with children and adults across a continuum of settings ranging from school-based care to acute inpatient facilities. On internship, I developed a clinical and research specialty in CBT with exposure at Rogers Behavioral Health in Tampa Bay under the supervision of Eric Storch, as well as at the University of Florida’s Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychology during my clinical postdoctoral studies. My primary interests include the application of sophisticated quantitative methods (e.g., machine and deep learning) to model the features that contribute to treatment improvement for individuals with OCD and anxiety disorders. Additionally, I am interesting in improving CBT with exposure through disseminating evidence-based techniques, improving methodological rigor in research, and identifying factors that contribute to belief in pseudoscience. I also have specific interest and expertise running and analyzing clinical trial data and have consulted with pharmaceutical companies on several FDA-sponsored trials. |
